The Brooklyn Park Great Futures Youth team is a collaborative organization comprised of community members and city staff utilizing a community-based approach to civic engagement to ensure the success of all youth in the Brooklyn Park community.
We intend to ensure this success by:
- Assessing the ongoing needs/obstacles of children and youth;
- Collaboration amongst all community-based organizations to maximize resources/services;
- Program development to meet the identified needs of youth;
- Providing and communicating resources to families and community members; and
- Utilizing a comprehensive approach to engage youth in new opportunities.
