If you have a passion for reading, or even just helping people, there’s a great opportunity for you at the Brooklyn Park Library!It’s a great way to add recent experience and references to your resume. Training is provided. Opportunities include:
- Conversation Circle leader to meet once a week with English language learners on Saturday mornings.
- Homework Help tutors to help elementary through high school students with their homework.
- Computer tutors to answer public questions about email, the internet and word processing.
- Adopt-a-shelf volunteers who keep “their” shelves neat and in order. They come about once week, whenever it works.
